Borrow, renew and reserve with your library card

The author talk with Mara Klein takes place on Friday at 15:00 in the Central Library. Friday is the scheduled day for the event, and the announced starting time is three o’clock in the afternoon. The Central Library is the stated venue for the conversation with the author.

Borrowed items can be renewed online up to three times, provided nobody else has reserved them. The online extension remains available while an item has no reservation from another reader. Each completed renewal counts toward the limit of three, so the borrowing period can be extended repeatedly only within that stated maximum.

Books that have been ordered are kept on the collection shelf for seven days. This seven-day period is the time during which the requested title remains ready for collection. The book stays in the designated pickup area throughout that interval, giving the person who ordered it the stated period in which to collect it.

Library membership is free. To register, visit the service desk with a photo ID and proof of address. These two documents need to be available when the membership is created at the desk: one provides photographic identification, while the other supplies the required address evidence for the free registration.
