Plan your visit to Sonnenbad
Sonnenbad is open from 09:00 until 20:00. Admission costs €6.50 for adults and €3.50 for children aged 4 to 17, while children younger than four enter free of charge. Parking is free for the first three hours, children under ten must remain with an adult, and glass is not permitted.
The ticket office closes at 19:15, which is earlier than the stated closing time for the outdoor pool. The pools themselves are cleared 15 minutes before operations end, so this takes place shortly before 20:00. These two times distinguish the end of ticket sales from the point when swimmers leave the water.
A €1 coin is required to use the lockers. Accessible changing rooms are located beside the main entrance, placing this changing option at the entrance area. Separate family changing rooms can be found next to the shallow pool, giving families their stated changing location close to that part of the facility.
Visitors may bring their own food into Sonnenbad. Alcohol is not allowed, so this permission applies to food without extending to alcoholic drinks. Glass is also prohibited throughout the visit, while the supervision rule requires every child younger than ten to stay with an adult during their time at the outdoor pool.
