Website, contact, demo, sales initiation, product operation and API use, to the extent that simple8 itself is responsible for data protection.
simple8 is aimed at hosting and processing in Germany and does not use external generative AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Microsoft in standard operation.
In particular, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability and complaint to a supervisory authority.
simple8 is hosted and operated entirely in Germany. Hosting and data processing comply with the GDPR.
The booking widget and floating booking button are supplied by Calendly LLC. This website loads the Calendly integration script from assets.calendly.com.
Calendly can process browser, device and IP data. If you book an appointment, Calendly can also process the fields you submit, including your name, email address, selected appointment and any details you enter.
Calendly states that user and invitee data is stored in data centers in the United States. According to Calendly, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses.
Calendly is an external scheduling service. It is separate from the simple8 product and API hosting, which is operated in Germany in compliance with the GDPR.
You do not have to use Calendly. You can arrange an appointment directly with simple8 by email or telephone.

This privacy policy informs how simple8 processes personal data when you visit our website, contact us, use a demo, request services or use the service.
If simple8 processes content exclusively on behalf of customers, this is done on the basis of the respective contract and, if necessary, an order processing agreement. In these cases, the respective customer generally remains responsible for data protection.

When you access the website, technically necessary information is processed so that the site can be delivered, secured and operated smoothly. This may include, in particular, IP address, date and time, URL accessed, referrer, user agent and other technical protocol data.
The processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, high-performance and stable website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Simple8 does not currently use tracking or marketing cookies that are not technically necessary on this website by default. If the technologies used change, this declaration will be updated accordingly.
If you contact us by email, telephone or other means, we process the contact, communication and company data you provide in order to answer your request, create offers and organize further communication.
The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR, as far as pre-contractual measures or the implementation of a contract are concerned, otherwise Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in orderly communication and sales management.
When using the demo or API, transmitted texts, settings such as mode or rewrite depth, technical metadata, timestamps, usage parameters and generated results can be processed.
Processing is carried out to provide the requested function, optimize delivery, cache-based reuse of responses, analyze errors, prevent misuse and operate the service securely.
The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual service relationships and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR for security, stability and misuse protection interests. If personal data is processed on behalf of a customer, the processing is also governed by Art. 28 GDPR and the respective contractual framework.
We use service providers to the extent necessary for hosting, technical provision, communication, security, support or business operations. These service providers are carefully selected and, where necessary, integrated as processors under data protection law.
Data will only be passed on if it is necessary to fulfill the contract, due to legal obligations, to enforce the law or to protect legitimate interests.
The standard operation of simple8 is aimed at data processing in Germany or within the European Union. If data should be transferred to third countries in individual cases, this will only be done on a permissible basis under data protection law.
We only store personal data for as long as this is necessary for the respective purposes or as long as there are legal retention requirements.
Technical protocol data, communication data, contract documents and operational evidence are regularly checked for purpose, security requirements and legal deadlines and deleted or anonymized as soon as further storage is no longer necessary.
Cache and operational data may be temporarily retained for reuse, traceability and system security, to the extent this is necessary to operate the service and is covered by the contract.
simple8 takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from loss, unauthorized access, manipulation and other risks.
This includes, in particular, role-based access concepts, securing access data, transport encryption, logging of security-relevant events and security management designed for professional product operation.
In accordance with the legal requirements, you have the right to information about the relevant personal data, to correct incorrect data, to delete, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing that is based on Article 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR.
If processing is based on consent, you can revoke this with effect for the future.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence, your place of work or our company headquarters may be responsible.
We adapt this data protection declaration if legal requirements, technical processes or our range of services change significantly.
